Features

Samsung AI: Samsung’s new AI-based language translation features are one of a kind. Imagine calling business clients around the globe and being able to speak with them in their own language with these new features from Samsung. The S24 line offers something truly innovative with live translation functions that act as a real-time interpreter on phone calls. Early reviewers of the device have shared that these features, at least in their current stage, are best for short transactional conversations, such as making travel arrangements or dinner reservations in another country. Other reviewers have shared a high level of accuracy with the technology and envision a lot of potential as it advances.

Performance: All three phones feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 8GB of RAM. This high performance processor is great for multitasking, dynamic switches between applications, and immersive gaming experiences.

Battery: With an upgraded processor, Samsung also upgraded their battery with the S24 series. The S24 has a 4,000mAh battery, with the S24 Plus slightly larger at 4,900mAh, and the Ultra with an enormous 5,000mAh battery. The larger and more improved batteries are sure to get you through the day without needing a charge, even with heavy usage.

Camera: There is no question that the camera system across the S24 lineup is the main reason why Samsung remains one of Apple’s biggest competitors. While each phone in the series offers something slightly different, all are guaranteed to capture stunning images.

According to Samsung’s website, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ both come with a 12MP Selfie Camera and a triple Rear Camera consisting of a 50MP Wide-angle Camera with 2x optical quality zoom, 12MP Ultra Wide Camera and 10MP 3x Optical Zoom Camera. You can use portrait mode on 2x and 3x zoom to take dynamic close-ups. Even in low light, take shots with reduced noise thanks to Nightography. Additionally, the new ProVisual engine enhances detail and color for clear, vibrant high-resolution photos, even at digital zoom distances.

The Ultra, on the other hand, includes a jaw dropping camera set up: a 50MP main camera with 5x-10x optical zoom, 200MP wide-angle with 2x optical zoom, 10MP with  3x optical zoom, 12MP ultra wide, and 12MP front selfie camera. A camera feature to highlight on the Ultra is the stunning nightography that can capture low light photos even in 5x zoom.
